How to report a suspected phishing website

Remember, the University of Toronto will never ask for your password via email. If you receive a suspicious email containing a link requesting your UTORid and password please report it. If you are unsure, call the Help Desk for assistance.

Internet Explorer

Tools > SmartScreen Filter > Report unsafe site

 

Mozilla Firefox

Help > Report Web Forgery

 

Google Chrome or Safari

To report a phishing website from Google Chrome or Safari, please visit http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish

How else you can help

Phishing email and websites can also be reported to the U of T Security Matters team and PhishTank

Google Docs

If the phishing site is hosted on Google Docs, you can request that Google delete the content.

At the top of the google doc, go to Help and choose Report abuse.
