Configuring your iPhone (iOS 5) for UTORexchange

Warning: If you proceed with these instructions,any pre-existing local calendar and contact information on the iPhone will be deleted by Exchange and replaced with your Exchange calendar and contact information. If you use MobileMe, the Exchange calendars will appear in the listing of Calendars separate from MobileMe calendars.

1. From the home screen, choose Settings, then Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then Add Account.
2. Tap Microsoft Exchange at the top of the list.
   
   
3. Enter your Email address, Username (your UTORid) and Password, and a description of the account.  Leave Domain blank.
   
   
4. Tap Next. In the Server  field enter: exactivesync2010.utoronto.ca under. Keep Domain blank. 
   
   
   
   
5. Once the iPhone has confirmed connectivity with the Exchange server, you will be asked which type of folders to synchronize. By default Email, Contacts, and Calendars are selected.

Once you save this information, the device will begin to synchronize. When it is done, your iPhone will be configured for your UTORexchange account.

Note
For iPhones with an operating system older than iOS4 You cannot use both Gmail Push and UTORexchange as iPhone only allows for one Exchange account.
